Recipe: Baked Cheese Olives

Ingredients - (makes 24)

1 cup grated cheese
2 tbps softened butter
1/2 cup flour
pinch cayenne pepper
24 pimento stuffed olives

Method -

Preheat the oven to 200c.

In a bowl combine the grated cheese, butter, flour and cayenne pepper.

Wrap a teaspoon of dough around each olive.

At this stage the dough covered olives can be placed on a small tray and placed into the freezer until frozen and then store in the freezer in a box.  The dough covered olives can then be cooked from frozen when needed.  They may need a couple of minutes longer in the oven.

To cook, place the dough covered olives on a baking tray and bake in the oven for around 15 mins, until golden brown.

They can be eaten hot or cold.
