Recipe: Chicken Köfte Rolls with Mustard Mayonnaise

These make a lovely alternative to sausage rolls.  The chicken köfte I use are the size and shape of small cocktail sausages.


Ingredients - serves 2

6 chicken köfte
3 frozen puff pastry squares
For mayonnaise:
equal parts mayonnaise and American mustard or other equivalent

Method -

Once the puff pastry has defrosted, cut each square into two oblongs.

Roll one chicken köfte in each oblong of pastry.

Brush the rolls with a little milk.

Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200c for around 20 mins, until rolls are nicely browned.

Whilst the rolls are baking mix up the mustard mayonnaise using equal parts mustard and mayonnaise.  I haven't given quantities here as it is up to you how much you like with your rolls.
