Recipe: Apple Crumble

Ingredients - serves 2

stewed apples
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter
1 tsp cinnamon

Method -

Put a 2cm layer of stewed apples in two individual ovenproof dishes.

In a bowl combine the flour, sugar and cinnamon.

The with a fork mix in the butter until the mixture turns into fine crumbs, with all of the ingredients combined.

Sprinkle the dried mix over the apples and put in a preheated oven at 200c until topping has browned and apples are bubbling.

* I now have to make a confession. I love this with custard, but I have to say that I use instant custard. Homemade custard is lovely, but I find it too fiddly.
